Oil on Aluminum Composite Panel
Just completed this painting trying out the ACPs. I put down 4 coats of gesso and sanded the final layer and let dry for about 3 days. I put a real rose in my shadow box and painted this ala prima! I'm usually not a fan of ala prima but it went well and was relaxing not to have to follow any under drawing. I really like the ACP, the gesso adhered well and I loved the weight and feel of the panel. I definitely will try more of those.
